One bad Camino!

Here are the beginning pics oh the baddest El camino to hit the streets. This car has a Art Morrison clip graphed in the front it has 19 and 22 wheels by billet specialties. Stay tuned for more updates.

The 1962 Chevrolet Impala Convertible its Brillant silver by PPG with a beautiful red leather inter. A 502 big block to appear as a 409 just bigger with a 5 speed trans.

Here it is the 1951 Chevrolet Fleetline that has now a new name Fineline! This car is on a Art Morrison chassis with custom 17 and 20 billet specialties wheels. A built 409 with over 500 cubic inches now. A 5 speed to back it up and of its all PPG black

2013 SEMA Show

If you’re attending this year’s SEMA Show, stop by the PPG Automotive Refinish exhibit located  in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center Booth# 24501. Bobby Alloway of Alloway’s Hot Rod Shop will be appearing daily for a meet and greet of automotive enthusiasts attending the show. Also while at the show, check the latest builds from the shop! The 1962 Chevrolet Impala Convertible will debut in the HRIA Booth located in Hot Rod Alley! A brand new project will be unveiled on Tues morning at 11AM in the HRIA Booth as well. Bobby Alloway appearance times are as follows:

2013 Shades of the Past Hot Rod Roundup

This coming weekend, its the 31st annual Shades of the Past Hot Rod Roundup being held at Dollywood’s Splash Country located in Pigeon Forge, TN Sept 6-7th. The show features Rods and Customs from all over the Southeast and beyond thru 1972. Alloway’s Hot Rod Shop is the proud builder of the giveaway car. One lucky Participant at the HOT ROD ROUNDUP #31 will take the ’32 Ford Roadster home! As shown below:

13′ Hot August Nights Big Announcement!!

Inaugural
BARRETT-JACKSON CUP™ announced as Grand Prize at
27TH ANNUAL HOT AUGUST NIGHTS

2013 Downtown Reno Show-n-Shine competition to feature $40,000 prize purse;
$20,000 for Ultimate Best of Show

We want to thank Barrett-Jackson and Hot August Nights in announcing that Alloway’s Hot Rod Shop will be involved with the 2013 show.

Participants in the Downtown Reno Show-n-Shine will compete in daily competitions beginning Wednesday, August 7 through Friday, August 9. Fifteen daily Best of Show winners will receive a ribbon and an invitation to return on Saturday for the Finals to take place Saturday, August 10. The forty-five Finalists will be stage in the Silver Legacy Ballroom from the hours of 8am to 4pm where the top five will be selected then sent to the Barrett-Jackson Auction for the final judging. Once the Final Five have been judged at the auction by a team of Barrett-Jackson officials and placed in their perspective winning category of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th or Ultimate Best of Show Winner, they will proceed back to downtown Reno and be staged on Virginia Street for the Awards Presentation during a spectacular fireworks display presented by the Silver Legacy Resort Casino.

  • 4th runner up: $1,000
  • 3rd runner up: $3,000
  • 2nd runner up: $6,000
  • 1st runner up: $10,000
  • Ultimate Best of Show: $20,000 and the first-ever Barrett-Jackson Cup™

The daily awards presentation for Show-n-Shine winners will take place in downtown Reno where all finalist vehicles will be displayed. The Downtown Reno Show-n-Shine is the result of collaboration between the Eldorado Hotel Casino, Silver Legacy Resort Casino, Circus Circus Hotel & Casino and Harrah’s Reno. The Barrett-Jackson Cup™ will be on display at the Hot August Nights headquarters located at 1425 E. Greg Street in Sparks, Nev. This will be a great honor to be awarded at this show. Making it fit tight!

As you can see. These new Ididit columns are perfect for custom applications. You can buy them in many different lengths and options, the one we mostly use is a raw steel one w/tilt and no key on the column. But do require fabricating mounts. We’ve taken the dash and made the column fit snug to each other.

Replacing Panels.

The pieces you are looking at are on the passenger side of the 1955 Savoy. It had previous bondo fix over rust by the original owner. Well that doesn’t work for us. So we cut it all out and hand made the panel to replace.
